This is a solid piece. I am very confident in both the design and construction that the clasp won't fail.
I am extremely pleased with the look and design of this clasp. My plan was to use it to swap between a short and long length with the same necklace (the long design bounces around too much when I'm exercising and sleeping). The cute design of this clasp means I can keep it down the front if I want too!
